The Institute for Nonprofit Leadership & Management at SUNY Orange held its 4th Annual Conference on March 26th 2008 in Middletown, NY. Over 125 people were in attendance and were treated to a very insightful discussion by keynote speaker, Allison Fine as well as information packed concurrent sessions.
Allison discussed challenges facing nonprofit organizations today and how they should re-think their relationships with their constituents while embracing new social media tools. Everyone in the audience received her award winning book "Momentum: Igniting Social Change in the Connected Age." Below is a video portion of Allison's discussion.
There were also four concurrent sessions covering topics from stragic planning to marketing to public relations as well as an exploration of a collaboration between two nonprofit organizations.
